No power but lights flash

Is there a reset switch. Most vacuums have one some where near the bottom brush, to protect the vacuum from overload. If the vacuum tripped, the vacuum will not work until you've pressed the reset switch. If you can't find one, pls check manual.

Agitator wont turn

It could be one or more of a few causes. Easiest to check is the belt and/or brush roll. There are two switches for the brush roll. Both must be working properly. One is by the main power switch and the other is in the motor compartment. If the problem still persists check the brush bar motor in the power nozzle assembly

Lights on front of unit stopped working and a little while later the whole unit stopped working while in the middle of vacuuming

Take it to a qualified repair facility. Even as there isnt to much to a vacum let the tech check it out. Could be a faulty switch or controls. I dont think its a serviceable by homeowner problem.

Has no power

Does the switch feel like it "clicks" when you turn it on? might be a bad switch. If the motor went bad then it's lights out for that vac.

I vacuumed last week and it worked fine. Now I turn it on and the light is the only thing on. What is wrong?

Hello Jeannette, you unit probably needs a system maintenance. Their are quite a number of possible problems affecting your unit. The belt could have cut thereby not rolling the motor, the motor could have become bad and the control board could have gone bad. Although apparently since the light still comes on this indicates that the power is still supplied into the unit. trouble shooting tips for vacuums differ what is the exact make and model of your unit? Let me know this so i can provide more exact answers for your problem.
Hoping to hear from you soon.

Kirby G3 won't run

sounds like brushes not being pressed down to the commutator shaft. pull out brushes and clean the brass brush guides and then apply a light coat of grease to brushes. however, what exactly do you mean by "the fan is OK"?
