If you bought the car new, it should have come with a small credit card sized card with the radio code. If you bought it used, it may be in with the owners manual or other paperwork. If no avail, you will need to contact Honda with the VIN number to get the code.

STEREO CODE IS NEEDED TO REBOOT THE STEREO SYSTEM

your best bet is that there maybe a 5 digit number in your glove compartment ..if there isn't there maybe a longer digit number in that case you need to call a dealership and ask them for a radio code and just follow what they tell you to do

Just put new battery in my 2001 Saturn and now I can't get my stereo to play. Please help

If it is a factory stereo, you have to call a Saturn dealer and they will give you a code to unlock.I don't know if the automatically tell you how to do it so you may have to ask.Write it down too because it will happen every time the battery gets disconnected and sometimes it needs to be even though they aren't working on your battery.Good luck! After a security code for a factory radio for a Mitsubishi Lancer

Hello,

This is to inform you that no one could provide you the code that you need. That code is also called the 'Anti-theft' code which is unique with every car stereo.

You need to check the glove box that's in your car and look for a card. That card should carry the anti-theft code for your stereo.

If you could not find it, you need to pull out the stereo and get the serial number of the stereo on the side of it. Then call the car dealer or the manufacturer. They are the only one who could provide you the unique code for your stereo.

You would get this problem once the battery run out of charge, once the battery has been removed or once you change your alternator.

Hope this helps and have a great day!

Stereo not working

Your stereo may have a security code that needs to be entered whenever the radio is disconnecred from the battery. It's an anti-theft device that makes the radio worthless to theives (even though nobody would steal a factory radio but, I digress...).

Have a look through all of the documentation for your van, owners manual, any additional pamphelts, etc. There may be one for the radio that should contain the reset code.
