Question about RCA D52W19 52" Rear Projection Television
Like the other questions on ... the light comes n and then goes out ... can click to turn on 3 times and then it wil not show the green light for a few seconds ... then can repeat, with teh same results ... will not show anything and shuts right off. was wokring perfectly and shut off ... then this is how it has been. thanks, jeff
Ok the shape for the board was changed when i submitted it but the locations for the flyback and the H.O.T. should be the same as you open the case and look in on the board its behind the flyback to the left on a aluminum heatsink the number on the hot should be c5588 about 3/4 inch by 1 inch rectangle with a hole in the top held on the aluminum by a metal clip the part# is behind the clip mine was made by toshiba not sure if all are thanks again to slinteriors for the part numbers especially the hot

Thats the classic symptom of a defective flyback. Its a easy inexspensive repair. change the flyback and the HOT transistor. You can get the new replacemnet flyback and HOT transistor at the following lkink with free tech support to explain step by step instructions to replace both parts. you need flyback 259296 and the HOT is 2SC5588.
