where did the phone land - (eg top left corner - front)?
Is there damage to the chassis of the phone?
If there's a crack in the screen and a little moisture got in there would be problems, also if the contacts to the display are damaged this could do something similar to what you are describing.
I have seen iPhones and iPads still working with very broken screens, but I guess the damage was to the outer screen cover only.

Check the 2 pins connected on the home button if touch the interface of the board,might not hitting that is why the slide unlock not working.

Play/stay safe; return your Apple product back to Apple and have them advice you on the next line of action.

It looks like you need a new LCD/digitizer which you canreplace yourself. Here's a guide on how to disassemble an iPhone. Maybe a tech savy friend can do it for you. If you want to have somebody else do it for you there are third party iPhone Repair Services.

I would say that you have a loose solder connection in the vertical deflection circuit. Most likely a pin on the output IC
has cracked loose from the circuit board.
A drop of solder in the right place might fix this.
