Question about Whirlpool Refrigerators
My guess is the fan has gone on it. Mine did the same thing. The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer compartment via a fan that is usually in the back of the freezer. It's not a hard replacement, if you're tech-savvy (took me about 1/2 hr.) and the part will cost you about 40 to 70 dollars, depending on where you buy it (priced mine out at $70, I think, but found a local guy who sold me one for $40. It's called an "Evaporator Fan" and I believe this link will show you a possible replacement for it (The crappy part is that you need to take the old one out to look at it to be sure).http://tinyurl.com/3so7a86 Good luck.
