Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, switch the main power On, press and hold the Volume UP & Channel DN together and while pressing these to buttons, plug the AC cord into AC wall socket. This is the common procedure should be done to most models of Sharp TVs, to enter its service mode option. The procedure might be different to model to models. your friend should be able to check the switch with a multimeter to see if it is good it could also be your hot & cold dial and not the control panel but on some models you have to change the whole panel if the car is blowing hot air hotter than the outside temperature it could also be the door actuator in the dash that is not openning & closing correctly allowing the hot air from your heater core to mix with your cold air from your a/c

I have an a31 i recently replaced the battery it works fine but when ever i put it for charging and disconnect it when it is done the battery meter says it is still connected so i cant get my real power...

Im very sorry to hear that, please follow these simple steps for you to be able to isolate the exact problem.

1. Removed the battery.
2. Connect the laptop directly to the power outlet without using the battery just for the meantime.
3. Turn on the laptop. If the laptop is able to power on, that means that the AC adapter is working fine as well as the DC port. If the laptop is not able to turn on, it maybe the AC adapter itself or the DC port.
4. Try to use another AC adapter if possible, make sure that that AC adapter is working fine. If the laptop is still not turning on, the problem is with the DC port itself. In that case, you will need to replaced the Motherboard itself.

Hope this will help...Thank you for using Fixya...

Hi there! Well for this kind of problem usually you have to look on two problems . First for the battery itself the expected life of that is only 1year it depends on your usage on it. Because all battery are consumable so maybe the battery is the issue here. But you need to look on the Ac adapter as well by checking on the Bios (when you turn on the Computer Press F2 that is the Bios section). Check the Ac adapter if it's being detected there. Or you can also take out the battery and run the computer with just an Ac adapter then check if that will work. If using the computer with just an ac adapter works fine. Buy a new battery. Hope this helps . God Bless.

We own a Sharp AR-M277 copier, scanner, fax machine that we use on our network. The scanner feature worked great, however, after 500 scans it stopped working. Someone told us that it was just a trial &...

The machine was put in a demo mode for scanning. What you will need to do, is contact an authorized Sharp dealer and purchase an MX-NSX2 kit and that will enable scanning and also purchase you a copy of a program called Sharpdesk.

Hello Jon , I was an installer with sears for ten years installing theese machines, First of all since you did,nt buy the kit with the remote and bought that seperately the codes are most likely different and the keypad is really for a older model , the salespeople their are not very knowlegable when it comes to stuff like that , look at your owners manual in the back and their will be an accesorry page ,look at the keypad model # on that page and that will be the compatible one for your machine, your machine at the very cheapest comes with one remote ,spend a little more and get two remotes spend a little more and you get two remotes and a keypad , theese machines are built by LIFTMASTER/CHAMBERLAIN so you can also purchase a universal receiver kit ! Just remember it,s always good to let the salesman know your situation that you intended to use your old keypads and controls , im shure he would have saved you the time of purchasing that machine in the first place ! hope i was able to help you ,sincerely GLENN

Luquid crystal television set - 125-240 AC

You have basically 2 options available to you:

1) Contact Sharp at the address you listed and they will instuct you on what you need.

2) Purchase a power conversion transformer. This will convert the 240AC to 110 AC and you can use the standard 110 AC cord.

LC-32d40U Sharp Aquos Screen shows "please wait" controls do not respond

Im not familiar with your TV set as it is made for USA but here in the UK some sharp models suffer with similar problem & this is the remedy.
As I said I cant gtee it will sort your problem but give it A try.
  1. Unplug the AC power cord of TV set to force power off.
  2. While holding down the “VOL (–)” and “INPUT” keys on the set at once, plug in the AC power cord to turn on the set. This should hopefully clear the problem.
