Question about Uniden BCT7 Base Scanner
You need to have the instructions and follow them step by step EXACTLY. I was having the same problem when I first bought it.

Without knowing what you're doing, it's difficult to tell what you're doing wrong, but the first step is to refer to "frequencies" - not "codes". You didn't mention whether or not you have the owner's manual for your scanner, but that's where the best programming instructions can be found.
