Question about Danby DDR2509EE Dehumidifier
How to use Danby DDR5511R, please help. When I turn it on, It runs aproximately 5 to 10 minutes and then stop. Please help.
It may be running a cycle based on the humidity level in your home and the humidity level you have the controls set on. The lower the humidity setting (i.e 35%) the more humidity it will remove and the longer it will run. until the humidity level in your home reaches 35%. Of course all of this is predicated on how high the humidity level is in your home. If you have the humidity level to be removed set above 55%, it's not going to have to run to long. As that's a pretty high level of humidity. It simply is going to maintain that 55% level.
In an effort to help you even more, I have included a link to the Owners Manual for the Model DDR2509E. You can download and print this manual for future reference.
Also, it would be a good idea to take a look at the section on Routine Maintenance.
Hope this helps you. Please let me know.
