It's either on the back in the water supply line before it connects to the fridge water inlet valve or under your sink where the water supply line comes from.

No water going to ice maker and water dispenser in the door. replaced the "dual water inlet valve" 2 weeks ago and thought the problem was solved. No problems until yesterday when the same thing start

If your water line to the refridge has a shutoff where it is connected into a house water line, this shutoff can become plugged up. A lot of them have a needle type shutoff that when screwed in shuts the water off. This is where the house line gets punctured. When screwed out this little hole can become plugged up.. Screw shutoff in and out a couple of times and if you can disconnect line from this shutoff. Then open the shutoff and see if you can get water out of it. This may allow you to flush the hole and debris out of the shutoff. Then reconnect line and see if this helps. If it happens again you may want to replace the shutoff valve with a new one.

Bidet keeps running

If you've tried turning off both shutoffs underneath and water still runs, then the shutoffs are also likely worn out and need to be replaced. If there is no way to shut off from that point, then the only other option is to have somebody turn off all water in the house near your water meter or main water line. In many places, hardware stores will sell something called a "water shutoff key", but depending on your location, it may have a different local name.
Once water is off to the whole house, turn the hot water on somewhere in the house to reduce pressure from your water heater before replacing your faucet and shutoff valves.
It is a good idea to take one of your old water shutoffs with you to a hardware store to make sure the new one would fit propperly.
If you know somebody who can take apart the faucets to check and replace just the washers, then it could be fixed with even less expense, if you would not rather replace the faucet with a new one that will last longer.

Waterdispenser very slow flow

Good Afternoon, Jayslyrmn:

Look at the tap on your water faucets. If there is a mineral buildup there, white and green crusting, the same thing is happening to your water dispenser, and the ice won't taste too good either.

Check your on-board water filter. You can find a replacement here:

It's literally a snap fix.

Enjoy your ice tea!

Shutting off water valve problems

Some shutoff valves are pretty marginal to start with, then they corrode. They can easily break if you put too much force on the handle. You are wise to be cautious. You will have to turn of the main water supply and then replace the toilet shutoff valve. You might be able to replace the shutoff valve yourself, depending on your skills and depending on how the shutoff valve is connected to pipe coming out of the wall or floor. But keep in mind that if you get in over your head you will have no water in the house until you get that new shutoff valve in place.
If you can describe what kind of pipe that shutoff valve is connected to I can help you understand if you should tackle it yourself.

Change the water filter

Most are ok to pull as there is a shutoff in combination with feed lines... If in doubt and the water shutoff is convienient to get to turn it off. Otherwise just pull the filter...especially if it simply snaps into place as it should take care of turning off the water as the filter comes out....
