might need a bit more than just g200 on that

g200 comes up as a gulfstream twin jet aeroplane

INTAKE VALVE CLEARANCE 0.08MM TO 0.16MM (0.0031 TO 0.0063 IN.)
EXHAUST VALVE CLEARANCE 0.16 TO 0.24 MM ( 0.0063 TO 0.0094 IN.)

BE SURE THAT THE AIR CLEANER IS INSTALLED (GENUINE)

I would try adjusting the valves. Honda engines are very picky about their valve clearence. The must be exact.

Intake: Exhaust: G200K1 3.7kW 0.08-0.16mm ( 0.0031-0.0063in ) 0.16-0.24mm ( 0.0063-0.0094 ) G200K1 4.0kW 0.08-0.16mm ( 0.0031-0.0063in ) 0.16-0.24mm ( 0.0063-0.0094 )

be very careful removing the valve cover, it'll want to bend and distort. use regular black or grey RTV sealant and don't use too much! :)

G200 has an interference engine.
I own 2 Daihatsu Charades & DIY most mechanical and electrical maintenance.
1990 G102 with (HC-E) and 1995 G203 with HD-E 1589 cc transplanted from Applause. Engines are very similar.
