Hi,

Sorry to hear about your problem, I can help you today.

The first step is to get the error code after the Tv goes into shut down:

Plug in the Tv.
After light on the front stops blinking rapidly (initialization), press power.
The power light should come on for a second then go out.
Now on the front panel press and hold MENU + DEVICE (INPUT) buttons until the light on the front starts blinking a two digit code like 3 blinks pause 4 blinks repeat, or 2 blinks pause 4 blinks repeat, etc.
Post back here withe the error code.

Let me know,once done.

Hope i helped you.

I have a Amana model#ARS266RBW, about 12 hrs ago it had defrosted itself, I turned it off for about 2 hrs and started it back up and it won't get cold? HELP????

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
The cold control is the knob in the ref that turns it on and off and has numbers on it. (Thermostat)
If it runs then that cold control (Thernostat) is the problem.
If that doesn't work DO THIS:
The relay on the compressor may need replaced
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
also try hooking the two wires together on the cold control to route around the cold control.

That is probably the compressor relay or cold control (Thermostat

Unit does not get cool. I can hear the compressor kick on, but it goes off about 15 seconds later. After a minute or so it goes on again only to shut off again

Mitsubishi Projection TV Model # VS-50502

The power supply section is having trouble.
Common possibilities are:
- Convergences amps have failed overloading the supply
- High-voltage section (flyback transformer) has failed
(happens sooner or later, about 8 years typical))
- Power surge has popped the power input circuit.
(Fuse, rectifier diodes, turn-on relay etc)
- One of a hundred of electrolytic capacitors has failed short overloading the supply. They dry out with age, are cheap to replace, but hard to find which one it is.
- Or any of many other possibilities.

In short, you need a experianced tech to troubleshoot this.

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
