Question about Aluratek AHDU350 USB 2.0 Hard Drive
My Aluratek USB 2.0 External Hard drive (model AHDU350) does not show on my mac desktop. It did until I cleared my key board cache but that may not be why it suddenly disappeared because I also unplugged it and plugged it in again. I remember when I first got it I had a hard time getting it mounted and don't know how I succeeded except tried different cables.. And my mac is an old g4 that does not have a 2 .o usb -- only a 1.1 or something and yet it was working before. My maxtor mounts no problem. Thank you very much for any help.
I have the same problem with my Aluratek AHDDS100F Sata to usb 2.0 docking unit. It will only work now if I connect it via usb 1.1. I am using a Iomega usb 2.0 pci card.
