Problem for GE Security Simon 3 Wireless Home Security System

This system was put in when we bought the home. Unfortunately, we are not using this alarm and the alarm has been set off. We cannot get the alarm disarmed now and I cannot get anyone to return my call. I have printed the manual off online but is of no use to me since I do not have an access code. I also tried entering 64321 and that is not helpful. Is there a panel to pull off to remove a battery? Need help!!!!

Yes at the top of the unit there is a tab or a slot for the tab version press tab with thumb then swing cover down. For the version with the slot insert screwdriver press up and then swing cover down. The unit has a 9 volt plug in transformer that should be near by unplug it as well as disconnecting battery. Hope this helps
