Question about LG Washing Machines

1 Answer

My waching maching is not completeing its cycle. The ue code appears when the cycle comes close to the end. We took all the clothes out and tried smaller loads to balance it out better, but nothing seems to be working. It still comes up ue and the clothes arn't completely rinsed. Any suggestions.

There is a sensor in the back of the washer that senses your load. Truthfully the less in a frontload the harder it is to balance itself. If you get the uneven load error your sensor is probably going out and will need to be replaced. If you pull the washer out it should have an access panel in the rear. Look on the right side of the tub in the back after the panel is removed and you should see the sensor hanging off the side with wires going to it. If I had a model I could probably get you a part number.

Washing machine wont complete drainage at end of wash cycle

Look under the washer tub where the drain hose comes out and attaches to the pump. Your pump impeller is either clogged or worn out. Try removing the pump and checking from there.

I am having problems with my LG Washer. There is an error code that flashes at the spin cycle and this stops the cycle from being completed. The UE light flashes and the spin cycle stops and will not...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Don't wait- follow these;-0)
It is necessary to ensure absolutely that the machine, even when empty, has all 4 feet very firmly on the floor, and I mean firmly ;-0)

Doesn't matter whether it is empty or not but switch it off then-
very firmly push one front corner diagonally into the centre of the machine and see if the machine moves or rocks AT ALL, even the slightest. If it does you will need the open-ended spanner which came with the (new) machine........which of course went missing a long time ago?!! An adjustable spanner will suffice.
Adjust the foot under that corner downwards until it is very firmly- almost pushing- against the floor but not so far that the corner lifts up!
If this corner did not rock do the same to the other.
Once you cannot rock the machine the slightest little bit, screw the locking nuts up tight to the underside of the machine so that they will not move. Ideally the rear feet should also be locked.

If this has not cured the problem it is possible that the internal suspension is malfunctioning.

Good luck,

John C

Please help! My samsung 7kg J845 front loader keeps flashing UE on the error code (spin cycle) and I can't open the door. Sarah

Hi, I have the same washing machine and it flashes UE on the error code during spin cycle when I have one thing in there, or if the clothes are uneven. I usually have to wait until the lock light goes out, re-arrange the clothes and continue spin cycle. If it is just one item in there, I usually have to manually wring it out as it will keep saying error if I keep trying to spin.

UE = Unbalance Error

Laundry load is unbalanced, manually loosen any tangled laundry.
If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.

Spin cycle

You have an uneven load... ( not kidding here).. If you remove and/or reposition the clothes inside . and restart.. does it spin up and complete the cycle? ( probably yes).. but if no.. please elaborate on what it does or doesn't do so we can help.. I've experienced the same problem when my daughter tries to do her entire weeks worth ( maybe longer) of clothes in one load.. The quick fix is usually to down size the amount being washed.. Hope this helps you...

Samsung P1053S error code UE

The UE is an onbalanced load fault code.. Unplug the machine to clear the code.. leave it unplugged for about 10 mins and try to run it empty.  If it persists you would be advised to contact a service technician.  Bust of luck

Keep getting UE code

You have a problem with the ball switch sensor in the back of the unit.  I have seen this problem where the delivery people actually dented the back panel so badly that the ball sensor was jammed up against the tub and kept going into UE error code.  Check to make sure that there is no large dents in the back of the unit.  If everything looks normal, then you will need to call and qualified LG technician to service this problem.

LG WM2077CW (UE error code)

For "ue" an unbalanced load is sensed three times; re-adjust your load in the machine. What is the capacity of your machine, you could weigh your dry clothes........refer manual.

For e1, it could be a water sensor problem. Check to see if the inlet valve is okay and not clogged, water shd be in good pressure. If this is okay, open up behind after taking the plug off the wall. There is a thin tube coming from the switch area to the outlet pump area; disconnect this from the top carefully and blow into it, it should be free; if it is clogged you will hav a water level problem. Unblock and refit carefully.
.....& rate me if helped.
