Hello:
I hope the following information is helpful.
If you are trying to install the driver for the Broadcom ethernet NIC that was pre-installed (NOT an ethernet card that you purchased and installed yourself), there is a softpack (updated driver installation) download available from HP/Compaq. It will install the driver automatically for you, just download it from the link below and run the ".exe" file.
IMPORTANT: Check to be sure that your current Operating System, and model of the network device you are trying to install, are BOTH listed below BEFORE you download!

Below is an link to the Emachines support page that gives you manuals, downloads, etc. I think the you will be able to either get the information you need or find a way to contact E Machines to get a repair manual. E Machines also gives you an option to contact support for more information.
no you cant that restore disc has all the bios and drivers for the computer they came with if you do it will mess up the pc and nothing will operate right
You actually don't need an executable or a setup file to install the driver. When you unzip the set of files, put them on a location on your C:\ drive where you'll know your'll find them like c:\drivers\ethernet (just as an example) Go into device manager and under the device driver for the ethernet controller, right click and then go to "Update Driver." When you get the Hardware Update Wizard, select, "No, not this time" and choose "Install from a list or specific location." Check the "Include this location in the search:" and then browse to the directory where you extracted the files.i.e c:\drivers\ethernet\ and click next until the wizard finishes installing the driver.
I hope that makes sense if you need further clarification please reply back to this post. Please don't rate me until I help you resolve your issue. I will help you resolve it.
You can download any/all the Windows XP or Vista device drivers for your model laptop from the Toshiba WEB site from their download page. Make sure you enter the model of your laptop so you can get the correct drivers. Use this link :-. http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp#
you can't very do that to replace the xp from vista, unless you understand all your hardware models..........
then go online to search the drivers one-by-one........
