Question about Kenmore 60502 Microwave Oven
First you need to determine when that happens if it's actually heating, or if it's just the fan and turntable coming on. (I suspect the latter).
You can test it by putting in a cup of cold water and letting it run (with yourself standing to the side of the microwave) for about 30 seconds.
Then unplug the microwave and check the water for warmth.
If it IS heating, then you probably have a control board issue and we can help you here.
If it is NOT heating, as I suspect, then I think it is a door switch or switch mount issue.
