Hi, What connections are you using? Do your cables have White, Yellow and Red ends? If so make sure that they are connected to the correct ports on your TV, or that they are connected to the correct ports on the SCART adapter on the end of the cable.
Also if you have no Yellow port on your TV, then insert the Yellow cable into the Green 'Y' port, this could be the problem. Here is the Nintendo help page.
Hope this helps.

There is most likely a hardware issue with the Wii. Something in the Wii is dying. Issues like this can only be fixed by sending the Wii to Nintendo (after calling them) or finding a local store with a specialist who has experience taking apart and fixing Wiis.

You may want to ensure your Television is on the right input setting. That's usually the best bet when you have no signal from the console to the set.

If that still doesn't work, you may have to contact Nintendo or the location you purchased it from in order to secure a warranty replacement.

I hope this helped!

Have good picture, but no sound from Wii

Make sure no other game console is hooked up to the spliter then turn everything off... turn the TV on first, then the game system, if the system still doesn't produce sound then get a NEW dedicated cable Hope that helps

Wii component cable

Not knowing the Wii, but being familiar with the symptom, I would guess there is a setting change in the menu of the Wii that will let you choose component or composite output. It sounds exactly like a composite signal is being fed, over the component cables, to a component input. Check the menu settings and consult the manual for hooking the Wii up to a component television.

Did you plug in the cables in the TV for the Wii? Check if you did that or if you do, try changing the different TV setting.
