Do you see any other files?
If you see, then would you check the compatibility (or readable) of movie files from your TV? (Please, check TV manuals first.)
Although TV says it read a file, for example, 'AVI', it does not mean to play all AVI files.
When someone makes AVI, many codecs can be used like xvid, x264 for video and mp3, ac3, aac and so on.
If you don't see any of your files, copy those movie AND photo files into any usb flesh drive. Then plug in and test.
