Hi
There should be a control panel application to configure 5.1 for the sound card - also a system tray icon.
Is this Vista or XP?
re. camera - check you do not have dual output video and make sure you are using monitor 1 to display the camera.

Try downloading AmCap to see if camera is working OK.

Hi...hard time with your logitech Speaker., do you have a 5.1 sound card install inside your pc, like 6 outputs and two input jack on your sound card... a pro sound card to make your logitech X-50 work like a charm if you dont have... I suggest to by a creative soundblaster pro 5.1, but if you do have a surround sound card with 6 input jack install in your pc and fail to work properly...ride down the model of your sound card and check if it compatible with windows 7., just download the patch for it... good luck.

HOW TO HOOK UP ALL MY X-530 LOGITECH SPEAKER ON MY PC

You'll only be able to get true surround sound utilizing all the speakers if you have a sound card with multiple outputs (usually color coded as Green, Black, and Orange). Plug the satellite speakers into the subwoofer and run the three input wires (Green, Black, Orange) to your multi-source output.
If you only have one output on your PC (common), you should just connect the green wire and press the "matrix" button on the system. This will just duplicate the sound output into the other channels but is not "real" surround sound.
Hope that helps.

I hear music on stereo not 5.1 im with x-530 wtf is the problem??!?!?

HI , this means that your soundcard is not 5.1 Channel , and the speakers are , and 5.1 = Surround Sound , without a 5.1 Channel Sound card you will only be able to obtain Stereo out of it...
Sound cards are cheap these days , look for one and it will work perfectly.

Only 2 speakers work even though its all plugged in correctly. Ive hooked it up to an i pod

Hi , Just to clarify is your Sound Card that you are connecting it too , a 5.1 Channel Sound Card?? if not then that is the problem as it is a 5.1 Surround Sound System..Reason for it only coming out of 2 speakers when you connect it too an ipod , is the Green Cable Doesnt Comply with all the Speakers , you need a 5.1 CHannel Sound Card to connect all the Cables into.A 5.1 Channel Sound Card looks like this http://www.dclstore.co.uk/images/products/genius-soundmaker-value-5.1-channel-sound-card-16-bit-pci-31720009100-l.JPG

I hope this helped bud ,
Have a Happy new Year :)

Verify that all cables are plugged in correctly. Make sure the rear and/or center/sub audio cable is plugged in to the correct port. On most surround sound cards, the rear audio port is black, the front audio port is green, and the center/sub audio port is orange. If you do not have a surround sound card, make sure you obtain the proper adapter (discussed in the next paragraph) or use surround sound emulation if your speaker system offers it. If you are not sure if you have a surround sound card, please check with the manufacturer of your sound card for details. Make sure your sound card supports the same amount of channels as your speaker system contains. For 4.1 systems, it should have a front and rear speaker jack on the card. For 5.1 systems, the card should have a front, rear, and center/sub, output. The card should be properly installed and configured. Please contact your sound card manufacturer for details. If you do not have a surround sound capable sound card, you can use the M3D button on the controller unit (if you own a z-560 or z-540) or use the source selector switch (if you own a z-5300 or x-620). If you do not have any of the models above, you can use an adapter to split the signal for the front and rear speakers. This type of adapter is a 3.5mm male to 2-3.5mm female jacks. You can purchase this adapter at your local electronic store. Please refer to your manual if you do not know if your speaker system can emulate surround sound. Try connecting the speakers to a portable sound device such as a walkman or portable CD player. Plug the speakers into the headphone jack, but make sure the volume is lowered so the speakers are not over powered. You can do this for both the front, rear, center/sub speakers to verify that they work. If the speaker system works on the walkman, then you are experiencing a configuration issue with your sound card. Please contact your sound card manufacturer. Check the system Volume Control located in the System tray. Make sure that the volumes are at a reasonable level and are not checked for Muting. Go here to get an operations manual for this setup. http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/fattach_get.php?p_sid=d*11Q7xi&p_accessibility=0&p_tbl=9&p_id=2924&p_created=1126107772&p_olh=0 Good Luck

There should be a setting in your sound card, assuming it is a 5.1 surround card, that allows the card to split the signal from two input connections (normally the normal speaker input'green' and the mic input'pink')into the required 5.1 output.
