Did you connect the player to your computer? If yes did the computer recognize the player if not try to unplug/replug the player and and see if the PC will detect the player as a storage device..But if your computer can detect the player did you install the software for the player, I believ you need that to be installed on your computer...

Hope that helps..........

A few things.
1.does your computer register that you have plugged in your mp3 player?

2.is your mp3 player turned on when it is connected to the computer?

3.what does the computer show as the mp3 player, when it is plugged into your computer?

4.is this the first time you are having this problem?

Video

Download whatever music video from Limewire, Napster, etc. Watch the entire video to make sure you are satisfied. Afterwards, go to the Sansa Media Converter and click "Add Music." Find the video (in whatever file you saved it under) the click convert. That should put it on there.

Im trying to copy music from my sandisk sansa m230 onto my windows

You can open the device under COMPUTER>Device Name (m230)

Open the MUSIC folder and just copy the contents to your computer by dragging and dropping them onto your desktop, or other location.

Best of Luck.
