Question about Electrical Supplies
Hello, I have an old Black and Decker edger/trimmer that when I use it an try to get more line out with bumping it, it will no longer bump out. So what I have to do is take the cover off spool and pull some line out and put cap back on and start trimming. A little later the line breaks (0.65) and I start all over. I am getting frustrated. Help. I think I am winding the cord wrong on the spool and I need to know how to do it right.
Hold orange spool containing string while twisting the black plastic cap in the center, counterclockwise. This retaining cap is loosely spring loaded, so watch for the spring falling out. Once this locking cap is removed, the spool pulls right off.
