Most wireless devices require a link to be established between the receiver (the part you plug into the computer) and the device itself. Here are some steps to try to make sure this connection has been established:

  1. Look on the keyboard and the receiver for buttons. Often they will be labeled as "Connect". These buttons may not be immediately obvious as some of them can be recessed and may require a paperclip or thumbtack to press.
  2. Once you've found these buttons, hold the button on the receiver for 3-5 seconds, release it, then immediately press the connect button you found on the keyboard.
  3. If done properly, you should now have a connection! I hope this information helped.

MOTORCYCLE BATTERY DRAIN

Although rebranded, the OEM battery for most Japanese motorcycles is Yuasa. There are some maintenance free batteries for MCs now available. Maintenance free batteries do not have the clear plastic PVC hose lines. Batteries last about 4 years... when in doubt, replace it. Check your battery either under the seat or accessible from the plastic side fairing to see if it has a hose nipple on the battery. If it doesn't then the battery is a maintenance free type. If it has a hose nipple, buy a new clear plastic PVC hose from a service station (usually used for car windshield washers) or (better) pet shop (used for aquariums) and run a length down the frame until its clear of metal so the battery water can drip onto the pavement. Cable ties work great at securing it as you don't want the liquid dripping on anything except the ground.

Battery not charging...one year old

From your description the rechargeable battery will need to be replaced, go to www.ebay.com Type make and model of laptop, refine search to battery, for best results choose genuine. Now! if you stick with the present one it will eventually die and may cause the computer to shut down, if that happens just remove it for continued operation.

New battery and wont do anything when i turn key

it's a long shot but if you have the soft lead type terminals they won't let a car start if they have even the slightest of crack in them and they will drain a battery rather quickly

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad SL400. Its battery died, so got a new one. The laptop does not recognize the new battery. Can someone help me with this!? It works fine when plugged in through AC power

1. Did you order through the manufacturer? If not, that could be the problem. Many 3rd party retailers provide batteries that are "compatible" but may not fit right or may not be recognized by your laptop. You might need to order from the manufacturer.
2. If you did order through the manufacturer, compare your new battery to the old one. Make sure the voltage and amperage are the same on each one (for instance, 10.8V and 5200mAH). If they aren't the same, don't use the new battery! Check and make sure it's completely compatible with your laptop, because the wrong voltage or amperage could break your laptop.
3. If it's still not working at this point, it could just be a faulty battery and need to be returned anyway.
4. If you do this and it's still not working with a brand new battery, something could be wrong with the actual connection between the battery and your computer. In this case, you would need someone to look at it and make sure this was the problem before attempting to do anything else. However, a good way to test this is to find a friend with the same EXACT type of laptop and borrow the battery to see if it works in your laptop. If it does, then the battery is at fault. If it doesn't, then you may need to have your laptop repaired.

Hope this helps!

When i pull out the power cord on my N150 plus the comp crashes, even though the battery is saying 100 per cent..any idea?

A lot of times this happens when the battery has gone bad and needs to be replaced. It might say 100%, but due to use (and sometimes just due to a faulty battery) the battery will charge less and less and eventually won't hold a charge at all. For example, when I first got my laptop a year and a half ago, I could get almost six hours out of a charge. Now I get almost twenty minutes. Unfortunately, I would say you need a battery. You can get one either from samsung (though you may have to call them, I couldn't find your battery on the site), Newegg.com, or ebay.com.

Some good tips for handling your new battery. First, if the computer's plugged in, remove the battery. Put it back in before you unplug it. This will prevent long-term wear on your battery. Secondly, it's good to regularly (I'd say yearly or so) let your computer "die" on battery (run it until the battery dies), then charge it completely THREE TIMES. This will "cycle" your battery. They say that with the newer batteries used nowadays this isn't an issue, because the new type of battery doesn't create the crystals like the older type does, but it can't hurt anything and I've noticed a difference when I do it.

I'm sorry about the bad news, but hopefully this will help!

I took my computer in to get worked on- now when I power up- the wireless keyboard and mouse don't work. When I type or move the mouse- a light flashes on the antenna part that's connected to the...

why not use a wired mouse and keyboard, bam fixed.
or replace the batteries in both.
the batteries, are short lived. replace them first.

NO OS STATED, XP"???????????????????????
what is a p5304????

to make anything run on XP. (its dead)
is hard,
you get to wade through 1000s of web sites, (not HP)
finding drivers that are not infected.
why post without PC full model stated
like this, COMPAQ desktop, model, bla bla off the service tag.
then the OS< we cant guess any of this, and is 100% key to the success of these failures, and more.

all wireless devices use a battery,
so the mouse can transmit its actions on the Radio channel
no battery no RF radios possible.
the keyboard too, needs power, and that power is a battery inside
and most PC this old (relic) no battery lasts this long.

if the battery dont fix it, try a new mouse keyboard.
end the horror of batteries, and XP, and driver same.
XP is dead. as is vista
so plug and play is no help here. its now DEAD for XP/VISTA
W7 might work, try that? after new batteries.... for SURE.

2000 Jaguar S-Type Battery

I had to change the battery in my 1999 S-Type, you will need the radio code, I also needed to reprogramme the board computer which is easy if you have your manual at hand, also the car might act strangely for a while, but this is explained in your users manual, nothing to worry about.

Hope this helps.
