Question about Philips Magnavox DVD/VCR Dual Player
You will need 3 cables of this type
select the length that you will need for a loose install.
You use 2 of them to connect the dvd player and the cable box to the receiver and the last one to connect the receiver to the tv. On the player and the box you plug the cables by matching the color of the heads of the cables to the color of the jacks at the rear (on the player they will be labeled as OUTPUT). In the receiver you will plug them in the VIDEO 1 and VIDEO 2 set of jacks - make sure you keep the colors and their set correctly paired up (the video ones are the first 2 on the top left in the video connectors section). The cable for the tv will use just the Yellow connector, the one for the video - the sound will come thru the receiver's speakers. Connect it in the MONITOR connector - the one on the top right on the video connectors section.
