Hello, this is Nick Franta with DISH Network Customer Support.
To resolve this issue try resetting the receiver by unplugging it for 10 seconds. The receiver will reboot itself once its plugged back in.
Also in the guide you can click the guide button and it will take you to the different menu options which will be highlighted in the top left hand corner. Guide has the ability to show just HD channels, all channels you subscribe to, and all channels DISH offers.
If you need further assistance please let us know!
Hello! my name is Dan Busa with Dish Network customer support. All of our recievers are set to do nightly updates at 3 am, at this time the receiver will power down and take software and program guide updates. You do not want to disable this as it is very important to the functionality of your reciever.
Hello, Tommy Faust with DISH Network here. I'm sorry your guide is showing you incorrect information.
What may fix it is a hard reset where you unplug the receiver from the power outlet for 15 seconds and plug back in. If that doesn't work then try a check switch test. Go into Menu - 6 (System Setup) - 1 (Installation) - 1 (Point Dish) and select check switch then select test.
If you are still having the issue or any further questions feel free to ask here.
Hey there! This is Becki Barned with Dish Network customer service. The issue that you are having sounds easy to resolve. If you have not gotten this resolved or for future reference, here are some simple steps. First, you want to download your program guide again. Go ahead and pull up the guide, then pres 999, then the BROWSE button, or the right arrow, and this will prompt a guide download. That should resolve it. Or you can try to unplug the receiver from the power source for 10 seconds, that will download the guide as well! Hope this helps!
It would be our pleasure in helping you get those missing channels back. The first thing we want to do is press guide button twice to display "Favorites List" option. Press guidebutton to rotate through selections until "All Sub" is
selected. By selecting All Subs the programming guide will only display the channels that you are subscribed to. If you are still not getting those missing channels we need to check some things on our side; please give us a call at 1-800-333-DISH (3474) or use or online chat too here: http://goo.gl/QR0vg.
We hope this helps. Thanks for choosing DISH Network!

If you have a single mode receiver, you need to open the panel in front and push system info.
A channel number will appear near the bottom of the list of information... it may be between 1 and 15. Push the record button on your remote control. (the black button with the red dot). If the channel number changed, then your remote and receiver are not on the same channel. Assume your channel was #1. when you first pushed sys info. You need to program your remote to #1. On your remote, push the Sat button until all other top buttons light up. enter the digit 1 and then the # key. Press the record button 4 times. You have to make sure you have the correct color key inserted in the remote control. If you have a dual mode receiver, one remote key will be green, and the second channel remote will have a blue key. Go to the Dish network website tech portal ...Google will help you find it, for complete instructions from the horse's mouth.
to program the dish remote to the receiver you need to access system info, if there is no system info button on the receiver turn the receiver off and press the up arrow on the front panel, then press record on the remote, to change the remote address hold down sat until all buttons illuminate, enter number between 1-15, press pound sign, then press record
to address a remote to the tvyou need the remote code for that brand or you can do a power scan
