The heating element is gone open circuit. Replace element.
Error F08 means that the heater relay cannot be activated. Check connections on:
- pressure switch.
- heater element.
- control module.

If you still cannot get it to work, then you are probably going to have to call an technician service.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Hotpoint wt741 fault code f08

You need to check all the connections to the pressure switch the heater and the module as generally speaking it is due to a bad connection, you shoul not need to disconnect anything.
Hope this helps.

Hi I have a hotpoint wf630 washing machine and it keeps flashing error codes f08. Could you tell me what this codes means. many thanks, Stuart

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Most Hotpoint, Ariston and Indesit (who make the other two) use similar fault codes. Although I cannot confirm it on your particular machine, f08 means there is a problem with the heater/its relay/its control. Often a cure is to re-seat the cables/wiring to and from these items.
REMOVE POWER BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANYTHING OF COURSE.
Good luck,

John C

What does "f08" mean on

The error F08 indicates that the heater relay is stuck. This could be a fault with either the pressure switch, heater or the module connections.
Think you need to book a service call from engineer.

Hotpoint ultima WT965A fault code F08 what do i need to do to fix it please. wachine is full of water and i cant select any cycle to empty it.

To empty the washer, remove the drain hose from the outlet, and lay it down to floor level, this will let the water run out into a bucket or similar.
Code F08 is indicating means heater relay cann ot be activated.
Check all connectios to and from the pressure switch, the module, and the heater.
Hope this helps.
