I've had a WFK2401 since 2002. I have had this issue for years. I've manually drained this washer so many times the floor is warped from occasional spillage. 03, eight aggravating beeps that go on forever, nothing in the trap. The problem, in my case is in intermittent, averaging about one in four times. My electronically-fluent son suggested that the control board might be dirty so I disassembled the top and extracted the control board. There was obvious black soot on the components in the vicinity of the transformer. The soot was not contamination from the environment, the soot was from a component on the control board that "exploded". I had a serviceman in my home several months ago to repair another appliance. All he said about the Bosch was, "...just wait until you have to replace the control board". Part cost is about $300.

First unplug the machine; then check all your connections and harnesses. Possible while you worked some wires could have come loose. Re. the code look in your users' manual............or surf on this site going to Bosch washing machines, from 'washing machines' above.
Please tell me somethng after you get this - yes, no or whatever...... I have quite a few solutions for which there is nothing............dont speak gama, type!

Our Bosch washingmachine also suddenly went wrong and gave the code 07. According to the fault book the drum was not shut properly. This was not the case. The brushes of the motor had worn, these needed replacing. It now works again.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
My Bosch WFF2000 series fault light decode list shows those 2 lights only being ON and not flashing so I do not suspect it's the same fault (which is to do with the machine heating water at the wrong time).
No promise but I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter just in case that is what the machine is indicating for you to do.
Here are my complete, general pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the filter and the motor ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!
Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!
