SOURCE: a 40 W fluorescent lamp

The lamps are both using 40 watts of energy, but the fluorescent lamp gives more lumens (visible light measurement) than the incandescent.
Fluorescent gives at least 5000 lumens for 100 watts.
Incandescent gives 1750 lumens for 100 watts.
You can see that if you had a 100 watt incandescent, it would be 1750 and you would only need 35 watts of flourescent.

SOURCE: My simer ace in the

I does sound like a controller issue. Try testing the charging output (be careful, who knows what the voltage may be coming out) I would say it is the battery but the yellow light thing has me thinking you are right. That thing has been sitting there maintaining the battery for 17 years, it is probably tired. The other bad news is if your battery has been sitting at that low volta.ge it may have a greatly reduced capacity now. Hope this helps some. .

Red "testing" light comes on when a battery is inserted and flashes continuously. Green light does not come on.

Actually, this is normal. You have to wait for the test to complete, and then it will charge your battery.

My Breville portable vaccum cleaner BHV9 stopped working. I haven't used it for the last 1 year. is it the battery?

good day..
try to see the LED indicator of your vacuum if it is light to low battery charge it...if the indicator is not lights-up your battery is drain.. because when the battery is not used for the long time it is got drain.
try to remove the battery and test it using tester the reading of your tester must 12vdc if not or almost zero reading replace it

if the indicator is on normal lights so your battery is good and the motor is not function..
try to lubricate it with the oil to the bushing

thank you and good luck

Large cities have "lamp" and/or "lamp shade" stores.
If you will find one, you might be able to buy the parts you need.
Realize that if it be made in China, parts might not be available.
God bless your efforts.

Status light is red, why? I have a Roomba Discovery.

Hi.

If the red light is solid, that means that the Roomba is near to full discharge. If the light is flashing red, then the Roomba is completely out of charge.

If the Roomba is fully charged, then there may be a fault.

Here full list of light codes:

Pulsing Amber - Charging
Green - Fully Charged
Amber - Partially Discharged
Red - Almost Fully Discharged
Flashing Red - Fully Discharged"

Here manual

It could be the power button itself. If you have a Roomba remote, try using that to power on the robot.
