Most of the time that problem is that they are plugged into the wrong port. Make sure that they are plugged into the green port on the PC or the one with a logo of sound waves with an arrow going towards the center or simply a speaker logo.

Best of luck

Sound gone on Technika lcd19 907 tv

Hook up for sound is to where on the set?

If using a box for signal is the sound turned down on it?

Is there a physical switch on the rear marked internal/external speakers?

In the set's audio menu or setup are the speakers switched off?

Something happened when you unhooked, moved and hooked up again.

When you put fader to rear theres no sound its a sony 6stack cd player sony6000

Check to make sure your wires are hooked up right. A good way to check your wires is to pull the cd player out. unhook - and + to right rear speaker. Touch the - and + to corresponding ends of a AA battery. Have someone in the trunk to see if the speaker moves. If it doesn't, replace your wire going back or maybe a bad speaker. if it does move and you hook it back to the cd player right, and there is still no sound...it is the cd player. Best of luck to you!

No sound from X-540 speakers

are you getting power out of the speakers? tried them elsewhere? maybe the port burned out on the board and an audio card maybe needed. try an audio card and see if that works and return to best buy (if you have one near you) if thats not the problem. you can try to reset your motherboard to default values? if the computer shows your drivers working properly then maybe its the speakers. ive seen tht happen to good speakers. its a bummer deal!

make sure the speakers are plugged into the GREEN port on your sound card many times people plug it into the linei n or mic jack by accident.

Go into the audio menu of the tv and turn the internal speakers to on. There will be an obvious selection for this but if you can't find it write me back. Hope this helps.

Check the wiring at the speakers themselves. It's possible that while you were moving the box one of the speaker wires came loose and shorted against the other terminal. A shorted speaker wire or damaged speaker will cause the amplifier to go into protect mode. If you have a digital multimeter with a resistance feature, you can test the resistance between the positive and negative terminals for each speaker.

Bad level of sound.

try hooking up other speakers to receiver, and other receiver to speakers, in order to determine which is the problem causer. open up receiver and check the contacts of the speaker swiches. also check the speaker relays, many times problem lyes there.
