Check the volume settings .
Check the soundcard driver : if you see yellow marking signs in the device manager next to the audio features , you are facing a driver issue and need to update and reinstall the sound driver . Click on the feature , select driver and click on " update driver " . You may need to go to the manufacturer's website to download a convenient driver .
