Have you tried un-installing Shockwave Flash and re-installing it?
Go into Control Panel and then Add/Remove Programs (XP), or Prgrams and Features (Vista/Win7)
Remove all instances of Flash. Then go to www.adobe.com and get the newest version of Flash and install it.
