speaker mounting is key to a good sound, make sure your speakers are mounted well and the wiring is correct, if you get the speaker wiring wrong it will loose all Bass.

It is really a preference. Try increasing, then decreasing each on the type of music you listen to and experiment untill it sounds good to you. It will also depend on the abilities of your speakers.

SOURCE: i have 3 outputs on my head unit (front, rear, sub) and the clarion eqs746 has only one main input.. .. which rca output do i use.. .. i have 3 amps for front mids and highs , rear mids and highs and
You can use either the front or the rear, it won't make any difference which one you use.
