Please be sure to include more information when asking questions. You also have to check what this question is listed under. You have it listed under JAM Paper Clear 8 15/16 x 11 1/4 Cello Sleeves Envelope with Self Adhesive Closure. But I will try to help you with some general help and assuming here. It sounds like you might be talking about a paper shredder since it's jammed with something you might wished shredded. Try taking it apart and pulling it out forward, pull whatever you can out then try another sheet of paper and see if it will clear itself.

Xerox phaser 6120 paper jam

HI,

Simply open up the back end of the printer (Not where you insert the ink cartridge).
There should be some kind of a switch of lever or get a pair of needle nose pliers or some tweezer and carefully remove the paper if you can grab it.

Goodluck,
Please don't forget to rate the solution.

Carriage jam error

A paper jam

If you've had a paper jam, normally after you clear it, a small amount of paper sometimes gets left behind and gets shunted onto the sidewall of the printer by the carriage, which stops the carriage reaching its full travel and throwing up an error, rendering the printer unable to print or carry out any other function. Simply remove the paper and switch printer off and on and it will reset.
If you have an error of any other kind, many remedies and fixes for these can be found on my website http://www.the-inkstore.co.uk/frame/pages/epson.htm

I had a paper jam from an envelope that I was trying to print. I opened the back of the printer and tried to pull the jammed envelope out. However, one corner of the envelope tore off and has lodged...

This seems to be fault in the transport of the paper in the rollers. Since you had used an adhesive based envelope for printing, it is possible that some glue has got clogged into the rollers. If not there can be some jammed paper in the rollers or the mechanism.
So start this work only if you are mechanically able with the right tools.
Remove the covers to get access to the mechanism . Remove the motor drive assembly , the fitting of the motor to the mechanism. Once this is removed the rollers can be turned manually so that you will be able to feed a paper to see the progress of the movement while studying if there is any obstruction or damage to the paper.
There is a in-detect sensor, usually an opto-coupler , make sure this is not clogged or dirty as this IR detection feeds the signal to the processor for starting the motor drive feed.
Reassemble but make sure the rollers are aligned to be in equal gap to feed the paper without a side pull. Now you must print and see if the fault has changed. If not repeat the above work to confirm the area of obstruction

I have a paper jam on my HP 3210 Photosmart All-in One

When you open the back door there's a guide that pulls down and on either side of the fuser there are levers to release the pressure from the rollers, if you can see any of the envelope from there you should be able to gently and evenly pull it thru. Otherwise a shop repair to remove the rest and fix whatever caused the jam.

remove the cover of the pc and take a 9V battery and put the terminals of the battery to the terminals to the motor which should be right under the roller. if you can't get to it then you have to remove the roller(s)

False Paper Jam on HP C4150

1) UNPLUG IT FIRST ... then take off the left side cover ... the envelope thing comes off by squeezing the lock tabs in slightly (they are on top and bottom off the envelope thingy near the front and you can just see the slots of the lock tab when you open it up ... press in the middle of the slots ... press the top one down while opening ... and bottom one up). Now you should be able to remove it and see two torx screws ... remove them and remove the cover.
2) You will see a few large gears and a clear plastic disc with some numbers on it. Gently turn the gear closest to the front corner of the printer ... the clear disc should turn too ... but if it doesn't, this is likely your problem. If it doesn't turn with the other gears, gently turn it at the same time you are turning the gears to free it. After it turns with the gears, align the square to the bottom.
3) Finally, slide the printer cartridges to the center of the printer carriage.
4) Now put it all back together and try it.
