Wiring new A/C

ok let me think a little about this, the reason the control box has wires to connect to the thermostat is because some how the power has to run through the thermostat so it can be controlled by it. as you know the thermostat is nothing more than a switch that gets activated by temperature. now lets figure this out. you say the box has only 3 wires, but in your description you mentioned 4. how many is in total?

Lorex mc6996 4 wires connect to what? red, white, yellow, bare copper wires

Call Lorex
1-888-425-6739

Otherwise it appears this is 24V DC camera that requires DC transformer.
Photos of the product show plug-in connections.
That seems inconsistent with description, implying that incorrect model number was given, or this is a used product that was taken apart?

Where is the fusible link for the cooling fan on a 93 Mercury Topaz?

I can supply only general information. There are actually three fusible links: a 20GA DK BLU (YEL wire), a 20GA BLU (RED/LT GRN wire), and a 14GA DK GRN (YEL wire). All three wires connect to the constant control relay module which has a RED output wire connected to the powertrain control module (PCM), a BLK/LT GRN wire connected to ground, two DK BLU wires connected to the electric cooling fan, a TAN/ORG wire connected to the PCM, a LT GRN/PPL wire connected to the fan, and a LT BLU wire connected to the PCM. Sorry for the roundabout description but it's all the information I have

Drive is not ready to be read ?Error Check/device/harddisk1/DR7 ?

if you external hdd do not show on other computers, usually it meant that power supply on these casings die... but in this particular case it is possible that power supplied by usb port is insufficient to support data transfer. connect recommended power supply (on the back of this particular model you have usb plug and power plug, power supply is/was sold separately) usually hdd inside is still fine and retain data.

if this did not solve your problem, i would suggest purchase little powered universal hdd craddle, they cost about $15 to $25, remove, hdd from casing and connect to the craddle. data should be then accessible directly from your usb port.

as long as hdd is turning, data is accessible and recoverable, even if disk was wiped off.

Acer Aspire powers on and off

The power supply is suspect here but go to setup or Control Panel to disable any power saving settings. Just change the setting to "Never turn off". I don't have your operating system to be specific but you can find the settings if you just explore.   If the signs point to the power supply you can try connecting another power supply if you have one available or check the Power On/Power OK pins at the connector if you have a meter. There are also power supply checkers you can buy but power supplies are not much more so just take the power supply out and any local service department where power supplies are sold will check your old one before selling you a new one. Let me know if you get any more clues to go on or need help as to where to check with a meter. Steve Medley
