How i can i fix my error code 117-363 dell laser 3115cn

The scanner head is probably locked. There should be a blue switch in the left back corner. Try switching it to the unlocked position.

Remove the existing printer and drivers from the PC. Power the PC off (don't just restart) wait a few minutes (or pull the plug for 30 seconds). Reason to pull the cord, you want it to flush any buffers that might still hold printer information.

Reconnect, once on, reinstall the printer from scratch. That should put a stop to the error.
