Turn the water off, at the bottom of the tube is a sleeve ( connection ) usually a lighter color of gray, grab it and pull it up,, once you do you can adjust the tube to the desired length and then just click it back down into the locked position

How to adjust fluidmaster

There should be a small black rubber tubing piece that connects to the fill valve and the other end goes in the overflow tube to refill the bowl after each flush. Make sure this tubing is installed correctly and that should solve the problem. Hope this helps.

300. Why does it occasionally get stuck in the up position or fails to refill tank completely?

It has been my experience that they are reliable. Fluidmaster instructions say to flush the valve (not the toilet) after installation to purge debris. It may be necessary to do this again. Also check for interference with the refill tubing. The float and linkage should be able to move freely.

I installed the Fluidmaster 401LG Fill valve but when I turn the water back on, water leaks from the water supply tube.

Did you change the supply tube also...many times the old one will not seal to a new fill valve.

I have a fill valve that says Fluidmaster 747. when tank goes to fill it sprays water out at the top

There should be a small flexible tube/hose that came with this and goes over where the water is spraying out, it should look like a little nipple, the hose goes on there and then to the white tube appoximately an inch or so in diameter that goes to the bottom of the tank where the flapper ball is connected. The small flexible tube is supposed to connect to the top of the larger tube via a clip so-as to fill the toilet bowl back with water. If everything is connected like it's supposed to be then you might have a cracked fluidmaster.

When flush my toilet, water keep running until i put my hand inside the middle and pull the float , then stop. toilet make is rapid sl

the ball **** fill valve is a poorly designed valve. replace it with a fluidmaster fill valve and a fluidmaster flapper. flappers do go bad after a year or ten depending on your water quality and choice of flapper but the fluidmaster fill valve will last a long time also. you can also get the water saver fill valve by fluidmaster and there is also a conversion set to change your toilet to a dual flush. all this is at lowes and there is a plumbing pro there to explain further. feel free to give me a positive rating. thanks!

I installed a new complete Fluidmaster and filled it up with water but when flushing water comes out under the tank not under the toilet though.

probably needs a "doughnut" tank washer under tank..or try tightening the tank bolt..fluid master comes with a little rubber hose that goes to overflow tube

After tank fills up, water continues to flow a little. How do you fix it?

Replace the top cap of your fill valve, or just the fluidmaster seal disc. Here is a link to the Fluidmaster fill-valve Instructions.

Sorry to be so dumb.... how do I open the red cap on top of the Fluidmaster pro 45? The water siphons on/off every minute or two for a duration of 5 seconds. I will check the flapper to make sure it seals...

Also see if your. fill tube is cracked this can cause it to cycle also, As for your fluid master, as long as the water is shuting off and it fills your tank in a timely manner its ok. I dont beleave the top on the pro series comes off.
