Brand new BenQ EW2730V not turning on after 30-40 minutes of use with the XBOX 360/PS3. Is it a feature or something because the power button is blinking orange?

When I switch on my FP767 monitor the light appears as blue, but nothing on the screen.

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed DELL (BenQ makes Dell MONITORS) monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

You may haev failing power supply or the backlight inverter circuits are going bad. BenQ makes monitors for DELL and HP.

Do you know how to open a benq fp91g+ monitor?

Here is the service manual: http://elektrotanya.com/?q=showresult&megnev=BENQ&megnev2=FP91&kategoria=&kat2=all

Most of the time you will use flat blade screw driver, starting at the bottom edge to pry open the case then work your way around, also look at YOUTUBE, just search for HOW TO OPEN LCD MONITOR.

Benq 19" monitor not working every time when computer started

Check your connections and make sure they are tight, and there are no bent pins. If everything seems ok, you might want to try plugging this monitor into a different computer or plug a different
monitor into yours to determine whether it's the monitor, the video card, or maybe the driver (doubtful on this as you state it seems to be bad somethimes on boot).

BenQ LCD 17 inch Monitor

I wonder if this has a backlight in it. Most/or all LCD flatpanel displays use a backlight in them, namely a small florescent tube (a tiny version of the office florescent lights). If this is burn't out, or the little power supply which runs it dead, you will have a black display. The image is actually there, you just can't see it, except perhaps faintly when external light hits it just right. The display must be disassembled to check this light. If you have tech savvy, and some equipment, voltmeter, maybe an oscilloscope, you could check it out. Where to get a replacement lamp? Google it... perhaps the manufacturer.
