Question about SKinhub Pokemon SoulSilver HeartGold Game Skin for Nintendo DSi Console -b

1 Answer

My son is playing Pokemon Heart Gold on a Nintendo DSi. When I ask him to save the game because it's time to stop, it seems to take about 10 minutes before he can find a place to save. Is this really the way the game was designed? It's guaranteed to cause problems unless I routinely ask him to save 15 minutes early.

No its not if he's not involved in a pokemon battle he should be able to save in about 30 seconds using the menu feature of the game and usually pokemon battle wouldnt take more than 3 minute minutes

How do you connect the wii to a dsi

Can You Use Nintendo DS With Wii?

The portable Nintendo systems, Nintendo DS, DS Lite, and DSi, are connectible with the Nintendo Wii system, much like the compatibility between Nintendo's Gameboy Advance and Gamecube video game systems.

  1. Purpose
    • Connecting the Nintendo DS, DS Lite, or DSi to the Nintendo Wii allows owners of these systems to use them to their maximum potential, as they take advantage of the Nintendo Wi-Fi connectivity. This allows you to use the systems simultaneously with certain Nintendo DS games.
    Connecting
    • To connect the Nintendo DS, DS Lite or DSi to the Nintendo Wii, the Wii needs to be connected to the Internet wirelessly either through a router or by the Wii LAN adapter. These Nintendo systems share a Wi-Fi connection, and this allows the portable Nintendo systems to connect instantly to the Wii via the wireless signal shared by the Wii and the Internet.
    Function
    • Once you have your portable Nintendo system and Nintendo Wii connected, the DS will act as a controller and allow you to play the DS game through the Wii system while maintaining the touchscreen and microphone capabilities of the portable system. Another function of the connection is that the Wii is able to expand the portable Nintendo system's games.
    Games
    • There are only a handful of portable Nintendo games that allow you to connect to the Wii, including the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl games, which allow players to use Pokemon accumulated via these DS titles to battle with in the Wii's Pokemon Battle Revolution game.
    Future
    • Nintendo has commented that there are plans of being able to download and play game demos to the portable Nintendo systems through the Wii's Nintendo Channel.
or just visit the link below for more info on your wii

We do not wish to register for the monthly service. Our one time question is about a Nintendo DS. Our son is playing Pokemon Heart Gold and the game is frozen. Is there any way he can save his progress...

if it froze, then there is no way to save. you must turn the system off. and restart from your last save. that is why it is recommended to save often. please rate my solution, good or bad.

My pokemon gold won't save it says I can but when I turn it back on it says new game again.

there isn't a way to bring back a corrupted Gameboy game save. The reason the save has corrupted is because the small battery in the game had died. Replacing the battery might fix your game, but it won't bring back your save.

My son has Soul Silver and has been playing it for several months now and acquired 50 rares. A friend of his used an action replay on his DSi and also downloaded alot of files. Now when my son turns...

Unfortunately you must buy a new one if it won't work even without the AR (action replay). If you're attempting to use it and it's not working, try using one code at a time. It might be the code itself that is corrupted.

Want to re-start Pokemon Soul Silver on Nintendo DSi

In order to delete a save file, you must press Up/Left, B, and Select at the same time at the main screen. In HeartGold/Soul Silver, you cannot overwrited save data by making a new file.

My son has a used ds game of Pokemon Diamond (bought off eBay)that did not come with the instruction manual. He'd like to delete the saved game that's on there so he can save his own. Does anyone know how...

Far as I know coming from former GameBoys even to the DS. The game itself is not saved upon the actual Game itself, but the System or in the case the Gameboy. If he had played the game before most likely it is a previous saved gamed he palyed or someone else. All pokemon games have a common point, that you can only play one game at a time, if you try to start a new game, the previous saved game is deleted after saving on a new game. Granted that I have not played the newer verisons of the Pokemon, but if they are anything like the older verions. Emerald, Ruby, Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Etc. They will delete the game once a new game is started and saved.
