Question about AudioControl Epicenter Audio Control Digital Bass Maximizer

Open Question

I have an Epicenter on a Punch Power amp and 2 15's..now its one of the older versions without the wide and sweep on it. When i turn the knob it doesn't grab the subs like its suppose to and i can even turn it all the was over and it barley moves the sub. So i know something is wrong, because in my other car before i sold it the epic would kill some 15's and i could turn the volume to 3 on my radio and bang

Why does my yamaha 7000 amp sound low and bassy with no punch to it?

There are two possibilities.
Either your instruments's settings are all turned down with the exception of "bass" and this would affect the sound that way.

That or you turned down your mid and treble on the amp itself. Turn all the knobs to middle and turn them one at a time till you get the sound your looking for.
The knobs on your instrument and amp control the settings.

Hi i trying to figure out how to wire up my rca's i have a pionner deck in on the back of it it has front output, rear output, sub output ,and also a audio output .now im trying to up it to a clarion eq that...

The "Front output" from the Pioneer deck would connect to the "Main In" on the Clarion EQ. I'm assuming that your Clarion EQ can only deal with one input, and will send the adjusted (equalized) signal out both of the outputs.
The "Front output" from the Clarion EQ should go to the "Front Input" on the 4 channel amp.
The "Rear output" from the Clarion EQ should go to the "Rear Input" on the 4 channel amp.
The "Sub output" from the Pioneer deck would connect to the Left/Right Input on the Epicenter. The Left/Right Output on the Epicenter would need a Y-splitter for each side, so that you could connect each amp separately. One suggestion would be to use one sub amp for both subs.

I have (2)10"kicker L7's 4ohm dvc.i am using a rockford punch 150 25 to life series. it's rated 960rms.with a alpine 250 v-power for infinity componets and 6/9's. i also have an epiceneter-150 that has spl...

first off kicker l7 10s require more power than your giving them. give them 600rms each.upgrade to a ho alternator . this place in dallas texas makes great alternators. 972-557-5768 maniac electric motors.i think the epic center is designed for music with out bass. if u upgrade the big three it will make a big difrence. do not use a yellow top batery under your hood use a redtop . deep cycling will cause the alternator to full field and burn up the regulater. auto zone only puts a 3 second load on the alternator thay cannot tell if its going bad. start your car and leave every thang off and check your alternator voltage. if it droppes below what the batery volage says when the car is off. usualy 12.4 volts is what a batery says and if u got a system running and your alternator is droppping below this 12.4 reding u are killing the alternator. the alternator is designed to run the car only with a few extra after marker accesories . so if u have a amp with 2 40 amp fuses in it. it should take around 80 amps to work the amp corectly. also rms is based off of 14.4VOLTS

I have an xploid 760 same amp wit ha 800 watt sub. eb=verything should work fin. but the same prob when i turn up the valume the overcurrent kicks on

use a bigger ground wire for amp and protect mode will stop clipping and shutting amp off also make sure power wire and ground wires aren't the same size ground bigger .............if this doesn't help change settings on amp to lower power
easiest way to set amp is (turn the knobs on amp all down turn up your system to the level you listen to normally and then set the amp knobs for bass turn knob slow to set properly but i think the ground needs to be bigger and maybe moved to a new location
hope this helped

What kinds of boats are used for rowing?

The boats (or shells) are basically of two types and reflectthe two forms of rowing---sweep rowing and sculling. In sweep rowing each rower handles a single oar (about 12.5 ft or 3.9 m long) in sculling a rower uses two oars, or sculls, (each about 9.5 ft or 3 m long). The word shell is often used in reference to the boats used because the hull is only about 1/8" to 1/4" thick to make it as light as possible. These shells are also rather long and racing shells are as narrow as possible while recreational ones can be rather wide. Most shells today are made of composite materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, or kevlar. A few manufacturers still build wooden boats. Each rower has his back to the direction the shell is moving and power is generated using a blended sequence of the rower's legs, back and arms. The rower sits on a sliding seat with wheels on a track called the slide. Each oar is held in a U-shaped swivel (oarlock) mounted on a metal pin at the end of a rigger. The rigger is an assembly of tubes that is tightly bolted to the body of the shell. The exception to this are some european recreational boats called "inriggers" which have the oarlock attach directly on the gunwale. The subtypes of rowing shells are classified according to the number of rowers in the shell. Sweep Boats (each rower has one oar) These shells can have a coxswain---a person who steers the shell (using a rudder) and urges the rowers on. I have included in parenthesis the symbol used for each subtype along with some dimensions and weights. Coxed Pair (2+) Two sweep rowers with a coxswain. Coxless Pair (2-) Two sweep rowers without a coxswain. Coxed Four (4+) Four sweep rowers with a coxswain. Straight (or Coxless) Four (4-) Four sweep rowers without a coxswain. Steering is usually accomplished via a rudder that is attached to a cable that is connected to one of the rower's foot stretchers (this an adjustable bracket to which the rower's feet are secured). The coxless pair has a similar type of rudder setup. Eight (8+/8o) Eight sweep rowers with a coxswain. Eights are 60+ ft (~18.5 m) long and weigh about 250 pounds (~114 kg). Sculling Boats (each rower has two oars) Only in rare cases do these boats have a coxswain. Steering is generally accomplished by applying more power or pressure to the oar(s) on one side of the shell. The hands overlap (usually left over right in the US) during part of the rowing cycle, or are always left in front of right. Single (1X) One rower or sculler. Singles are about 26 ft (8 m) long and less than a foot (0.3 m) wide. Racing singles can weigh as little as 30 pounds (~13.5 kg). There are heavier (~45 to 50 pounds), shorter and wider versions often referred to as recreational singles. Double (2X) Two scullers. Most racing doubles can be also used as a pair with a different set of riggers designed for sweep oars. When used as a pair a rudder is usually added. There are also recreational versions of sculling doubles. Quadruple (4X) Four scullers. Often referred to as a `quad' and usually has a rudder attached to one of the sculler's foot stretchers as in the straight four. Most quads can also be rigged as a straight four using a different set of riggers. Octuple (8X) Eight scullers. This is rarely seen, though is used in the UK, at least, in junior competition where sweep rowing is not allowed. Weight Classifications There are basically two weight classes for rowers---heavyweight (HWT) and lightweight (LWT). Men (M) For team LWT boats, there is a 72.5 kg (~160 lbs) individual maximum, and the boat must average no more than 70 kg (~155 lbs). Women (W) The individual maximum for team LWT boats is 59 kg (~130 lbs), and the boat must average no more than 57 kg (~125 lbs). In the US, the women have an individual max only; no average. In some regattas in the US (usually head races late in the season) these limits are increased by 5 lbs. A rowing shell is usually built with a particular weight class of rower in mind. Until just recently the Olympics effectively had only HWT classifications.

No power

hi, some car amps need a high current remote supply to turn on. first make sure that you are using the proper gauge b+ and gnd cable for this particular rockford amp. then try switching the remtote turn on to this amp thru a simple Relay.(use the remote supply from your headunit as a trigger for the relay). do these connections without connecting any spks or rca line inputs. once amp is switching on then connect all other cables. OR lastly check the main fuse on the RF amp?? cheers
