Question about Refrigerators

Open Question

Need to connect a Chint NC1 AC Contactor (NC1 - 1810) A float-swith in a water tank is 100m from the water pump. The float switch burns out after 6 months use. The power source is at the tank. The float switch is connected to the N while the L directly to the pump motor. Have looked for a diagram on the net, but no luck. I'm not sure what goes where A1 - A2, L1 - L2 - L3 - 13 NO, T1 - T2 - T3 - 14 NO Thanks

SOURCE: coleman evcon moblehome ac question

I would replace them to the exact terminals that they used to be on. Technically speaking L1 and L2 stand for Line one and Line two. This would be the incoming power from the breaker or disconnect switch. T1 and T2 are the power leaving the contactor relay.

SOURCE: Hamilton Beach 87330 hot water problem.

I have a HB model 2002 type wd01 water dispenser. It has the same "No Heating" problem. I can't find a service manual, electrical schematic or exploded view anywhere to help me diagnose the problem. Even if I did, and I suspect it's the thermostat as n6ec suggests, where would I get repair parts?

Thanks TEK57

SOURCE: i bought a new universal

The contactor should look alike. Just make sure the same wires are on the same side as the old contactor. Don't worry so much of the l1/t1 and l2/t2

I have a 2016 Jayco Silverline 25 ft van. Recently when connected to mains water water leaks back out of the rear tank fill point. I have to switch on the pump and run water off. What causes this ?

call jayco service center ( any one ) and ask if there is a float valve in the tank to shut of flow when connected to mains pressure ( may need a pressure regulator on the mains hose ) if there is then either mains pressure is too high or the float is not sealing off when full
if no float you will have to turn the tap off when the tank is full

I can get hot water but central heating will not come on. The radiator sign on the boiler is flashing all the time

there might be a problem. flashing lights meaning there is something wrong in either wiring or heating coil. some are equiped with manualy reset system. or some solinoid or contactor or a motorized valve. scaled water sensor or stuck float swithes.

How do I stop pump from running? Cistern connected pump does not seem to be pressurizing. Pump not cutting off, and getting hot.

Pump probably needs to be serviced. It probably pressurizes a tank and when that tank reaches a pressure the pump is turned off. But just guessing.

Swm 2412 um shows the tank empty, but there is water in there now it won't turn back on

The water sensor is located in the bottom of the cooler box. This will be a Float switch. If you are for sure that it has water you can jumper around the switch to ensure that it does come on and work. Understand that this however is only a temp fix. You will need to replace the switch or it will run out of water and burn up the pump.

I changed the contactor and the thermostat, the contactor does not kick in right away, is it supposed to? is there something else i need to change? thanks

The Cspaxi series also have a pressure sensor which senses the pressure inside the heating tank. This sensor connects to the coil on the contactor, insufficiant pressure in the tank will cause a delay in the contactor activating. It sounds like your problem can be caused by insufficiant water flow from the pump, a clogged or pinched water line to the heater, or a faulty pressure sensor.

Fan Rons Furnaces run Heat pump or AC will not run

I would check to see the contactor is functioning. The contactor is the big switch looking thing in the middle. The power hooks to this. First check to see if it pulls when inside is calling for air. If it does not than check to see that there is 24V going to the coil of the contactor. The 24V wiring will be connected to the sides of the contactor. Some contactors have the two wires on one side (this is usually on a Rheem) If the contactor is pulling in check and see that you have at least 220V running through it. I suspect that one side of the contactor is burned or has ants or some thing in it. Remember you are dealing with high voltage and take appropriate precautions. The capacitor can hold electricity in it even if power to unit is shut off.

Dear sir, can i know about float switch connection in 3 phase motor

You should have contactor or relay to control the 3 phase motor. The float switch will control the contactor or the relay.

Krups XP9000 won't recognise water tank is full

I have just had the same problem with my Krups XP7240 and I discovered (quite by accident!) that it was the magnetic float inside the water tank which was causing it. I think the float must have let some water in and always stayed on the bottom even when the tank was full. As the float was in an enclosed plastic column it was a bit hard to access, but through sheer desperation I snapped a plastic fork in half and wedged the handle section under the float to keep it off the bottom and this works nicely. It is not professional by any means but I was quite pleased with my innovation :)

The only down side to this 'method' is that the opposite is now true and when the tank is empty it doesn't register so you would really have to keep an eye on the water level to avoid killing the element completely.

I would imagine that the only professional way to get this sorted out is to replace the tank (or float if it is accessible?). Good luck!!
