I can't install the audio driver. it shows "install Realtek HD audio driver failure".so what I can do now..plz help me...:(

Well mahatab9, you have not told us if there is any audio driver installed on your computer or not. But the error message clearly stated that, you have an audio driver already installed for your motherboard model. So, if the driver is not properly working or you just want to upgrade it, you should use Intel Auto Driver Updater for best result. This will show if there is any updated version of your installed drivers are available or not. To do this, click on the following link to automatically identify and update your drivers and softwares.
Automatically Update your Driver
Now click on "Check Your System for Latest Updates" to start analyzing your computer. This will show whether your system requires an upgrade or not.
IMPORTANT: This utility is for Intel Motherboards only.
But still, if this utility doesn't show any upgrade to your audio driver, then you can manually download this driver as your motherboard INTEL DG31PR supports the Realtek HD Audio driver only for best response. Try to install driver from one new driver CD.
If your problem not solve than your board device problem.

When I tried to update the Realtek HD Audio drivers for my ASUS F5GL Notebook I got a message coming up saying "Install Realtek HD Audio driver failure !!" with the error code 0x00000103.

Is the audio speaker showing up in the taskbar? Has the Microsoft HD audio driver also been installed? Most times with the Realtek, you also need that driver from Microsoft as well. Its called a "High Definition Driver"

When I am installing Realtek high definition audio driver.. it is showing error code : 0X0000227

Have u tried Acer M1640 . If i am not wrong it is Realtek Driver. Still try www.acersupport.com

Realtek HD audio driver is only for Vista, not XP, you need the ac97 realtek audio driver
