Question about Computers & Internet
If your sure after going into the control panel and going into the power options icon that all your power settings are set to none then there could be something in the background that is causing the laptop to go into sleep mode.
Click on the windows logo in the bottom left hand corner and in the search box type in the word MSCONFIG. Press enter and then go into the startup tab. You'll see all the programs that are running. Best things is to click on the box that says disable all. click on apply then okay and let the computer restart. Let it run for a while and see if it goes into sleep mode still. If it does then that means there is an issue with the Operating system and you should try doing a system restore (located in the system tools section) back to the last date the laptop was working properly.
If it stays out of sleep mode then that means one of the programs that was disabled is the culprit. You'll have to go back into msconfig and enable all the programs and then disable the ones you know you dont have to have starting up when you go into windows.
