Yes, if you go into the my computer icon, look for your sandisk flash drive. Right click on it and choose format, that will be the easiest way to delete the contents of that drive.

Yes you can. Just connect it to your computer, when the computer detects it as an external storage device, then click on it to open then click to highlight the file or files you want to delete and then press the Del key. This is just the same as deleting files from your computer's hard disk.

My sandisk 1.0 GB memory card with a lock switch on the side, no longer has the switch when i tried to unlock it the switch came off. what can i do to unlock it

1.Download and install Sony EzRecover and attempt to use it to format the card (this will erase all content). If this doesn't work, try Step 4. 2.Delete and repartition the micro SD card using Windows XP. Select "Control Panel" > "Administrative Tools" > "Disk Management." Select the micro SD drive and click "Delete." Right-click on empty drive and select "New Partition."

I have a .pst file that is 5 GB which I am trying to copy to a sandisk flash drive cruzer 8 GB. I keep on getting an error message stating the the file is to big for the destination file system. What...

Two possibilities:

1. you already have more than 3GB of files on the SANDISK.
So, delete some files, or "burn" them to a CD/DVD disk,
so that you have at least 5 GB of "free" space available.

2. the "file-system" (the way that the "table-of-contents" is laid-out on the SANDISK) limits the size of a single file to 2GB.
The "file-system" on your 'C:' drive does *NOT* have that identical limitation (it does have a "maximum-file-size", but it is MUCH larger).

Open Outlook, and "compress" all the folders.
Perhaps, the PST file will shrink to less than 4.7 GB.
If it does, then you can "burn" that file onto one DVD-writable disk.
