Resolving Jams at C
Perform the following steps to resolve Jams at C.
  1. Slide the 2000 Sheet Feeder (Tray 6, if installed) away from the printer (See Fig. 1).

  3. Open Door C (See Fig. 2).

  5. Check for and remove any jammed paper. Make sure that all paper fragments have been removed.
  6. Close Door C by making sure the door has latched securely at the front and rear of the printer.

  1. Slide the 2000 Sheet Feeder (Tray 6, if installed) firmly against the printer.
  2. Verify the paper is loaded correctly in the tray being used. Reference Loading Paper Trays 1-6 for additional information.
  3. Try turning the stack of paper over in the paper tray being used. Make sure the paper meets the printers specifications. Reference All About Media for additional information.
  4. If the jamming continues from Tray(s) 4 through 6, refer to Cleaning or Replacing the Pick Rollers for additional troubleshooting.
