A method of classifying coluds

if you mean Cloud Computing - massive computer infrastructure for storing data, and executing apps in a service like environment.

A Brief History of Cloud Computing

Cloud computing has grown in popularity over the years however, a steady increase has only been seen within the last 6 years or so. The arrival of Salesforce.com in the late 90s paved the way for software companies to deliver their software over the internet, by collecting data in the cloud and therefore Salesforce created the space for cloud CRM and ERP. In the early 2000s we saw Amazon Web Services (AWS) and (Elastic Cloud Computing) EC2 offer cloud-based services for computation, storage and virtualization. This helped many organizations reduce costs and allowed IT departments to focus more of their attention on pressing business matters. With the increase in bandwidth and a maturing internet web specification, logically, browser-based applications soon followed. (Anyone remember how cool it was to first use Google Docs??)

"As cloud computing extends its reach beyond a handful of early-adopter Google Docs users, we can only begin to imagine its scope and reach. Pretty much anything can be delivered from the cloud." - Cloud computing pioneer Jamie Turner.

That's right, anything can be delivered from the cloud. We are seeing a shift in data gravity to the cloud so now cloud analytics makes much more sense, pun intended. Sure there were some early movers who just took on-premise software and packaged it in cloud-style - but they were not engineered to be cloud first and some still aren't.

Screen frame broke

Screen frame being the Display Bezel.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01573159.pdf

With the laptop closed, the top cover is the Display Enclosure.
Is it broken also?

Can you say OUCH! That's the cheapest I found, but it was a quick search. Hopefully you'll have better luck in searching.
The HP part number, for the Display Bezel of the HP G70 series, is;

HP 488386-001

The HP part number for the Display Enclosure is;

HP 488379-001

http://www.lapzone.com/servlet/the-54572/HP-Pavilion-G70-17-dsh-inch/Detail

Base Enclosure;
With built-in modem, Digital Media slot, AND -> with HDMI port,

HP 489114-001,

http://www.impactcomputers.com/489114-001.html

Base Enclosure:
WITH built-in modem, Digital Media slot, and NO -> HDMI port,

HP 501252-001,

Hinge Kit; (2 each Hinges),

HP 488384-001,

You have more damage than just the Display Bezel, I feel.
Access what damage you have, and I'll step by step guide you in replacing.

HP Pavilion dv8 not starting up

Ya know........Pavilion dv8 is a Series of Notebook PC's.

Encompasses a LOT of models in the series.

Have no idea of which LED in front you are referring to.

Do know;

1) Test the AC adapter (Charger) with an economical multimeter.
Average cost is $5 to $12.
Set to DC Voltage, and check the output voltage of the AC adapter.

As far as I can tell the DV8 series uses 18.5 to 19 Volts. (DC)
Use an AC adapter that is rated at 90 Watts, NOT 65 Watts; if using a replacement AC adapter.

The port on the laptop that the AC adapter plugs into is a DC Power Jack. (DC_IN)
The plug end on the power cable from the AC adapter, and plugs into the DC Power Jack, has a Center Hole, and an outside cylindrical metal shell.

The Center Hole is the Positive connection. This is where the Positive (Red) probe lead of the multimeter goes.
The outside cylindrical metal shell is the Negative connection. This is where the Negative (Black) probe lead of the multimeter touches.

Also have an assistant gently wiggle the power cord TO AC adapter; and power cable FROM AC adapter to laptop.
Intermittent reading indicates a broken wire, or wires.

DC Power Jack LED lights up? Means nothing to me. I want to know the FULL DC Voltage is getting TO the laptop, and there are no breaks in the wires of the power cable, or power cord of AC adapter.

THEN AC adapter checks out.

2) AC adapter checks out?
What condition is the DC Power Jack in?
Battery removed, use the eraser end of a No.2 pencil, and GENTLY see if you can wiggle the Center Pin around.

ANY perceptible movement of the Center Pin, means replacement of the DC Power Jack.
Fortunately for this series the DC Power Jack is connected to a cable with wires, and they end in a plug connector. Which plugs into the motherboard.
It is now a DC Power Harness.

HP calls it a Power Connector Cable.

http://www.amazon.com/PAVILION-Series-DC-IN-POWER-HARNESS/dp/B005WMWMMU

3) Next in line are the Power MOSFET's, in the power circuit section, on the motherboard.

!O_O!

MOSFET;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOSFET

Power MOSFET;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_MOSFET

Should be on the motherboard, near where the Power Connector Cable plugs in.
Rectangular shaped with 8 'legs'. ('Legs' are J-Leads)

Believe one or more to be the problem.
Typed the rest above because it is a power flowchart, and when diagnosing always go through the steps.
Would s-uck to replace a motherboard, when the problem was an AC adapter, it's power cord, or the DC Power Harness.

This is more on the subject, by using the HP pavilion dv6000 series, and Pavilion dv9000 series of Notebook PC's; as examples,

http://mayohardware.blogspot.com/2010/04/important-parts-on-dv6000-and-dv9000.html

Further this is to show the availability of the Fairchild Semiconductor - FDS6679 - Power MOSFET, and Alpha & Omega Semiconductor - AO4407 - Power MOSFET,

http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=FDS6679

Scroll down.

http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=AO4407

AO4407 has been phased out. Let's look at one of the cross-reference examples given,

http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Diodes-Inc/DMP3020LSS-13/?qs=%2fha2pyFadujguNNSgppBRqXbOxXLwzGsZm9SWxz1EqWpzoSJOpHpWA%3d%3d

That is correct. $1.01 USD for a FDS6679, and 78 cents for a substitute AO4407.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjpNbuOrOuw

Also check the MLCC's (They are also SMD. Surface Mount Device)
Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor

Here are examples. Not correct values, Capacitance, (MicroFarad's), and Voltage,

Scroll down.

These will be close to the Power MOSFET's.
See if any are burned, or blistered.

HP Support > Pavilion dv8-1100 using for an example > Manuals download page,

Scroll down.
HP Pavilion DV8 Entertainment PC - Maintenance and Service Guide; in blue.

This is a free Service Manual.
Remove ALL Power. Remove the AC adapter, and Battery.
USE an ESD wrist strap, and have it's alligator clip attached to a good ground source.

What is cloud computing

Hi..................
In general, cloud computing customers do not own the physical infrastructure,
instead avoiding capital expenditure by renting usage from a third-party provider.
They consume resources as a service and pay only for resources that they use.
Many cloud-computing offerings employ the utility computing model, which is analogous to how traditional utility services (such as electricity) are consumed.
Sharing "perishable and intangible" computing power among multiple tenants can improve utilization rates,
as servers are not unnecessarily left idle (which can reduce costs significantly while increasing the speed of application development).
Thank you....
With regards..
Priya

My hp pavillion was no power without ac adapter

if the pc is not getting power without the ac adapter then most likely the battery is dead if it does not take a charge via the ac adapter then then the battery is no good or the ac adapter is busted
