Question about Acer Computers & Internet
I just bought an Acer AL2216 LCD monitor and am trying to set it up to run from my Toshiba laptop. The Acer seems to be in 1680 x 1059 mode and my laptop can only get up to 1440 x 900. That means the image on the Acer is not filling the display area. Also, the aspect ration is noticeable different between the two displays -- normal on the laptop and wide and squat on the Acer. The instructions that came with the Acer don't help me.
Can you point me in the right direction for taking advantage of my new display?
Does your Acer have an Intel Display Adapter? If so, right click on an empty spot on your desktop, point to graphics options , and then panel fit.
