Someone sent spam emails from my closed yahoo mail account to all contacts. How can I stop this??

Its not closed. Its just hacked. Please see if you can access the e-mail and change the password and security questions. So that no one can use it.

While I am checking my mail, most of the links that I click on say that my internet has stopped working. This has been going on for a few days.

Strictly speaking, your browser's probably saying that, whereas your link is just pointing somewhere like always.
What changed a few days ago? There's your easy answer! The common cases are that Windows Update or an antivirus knocked some program or browser out of the list of programs allowed to access the internet; that your DNS host (or registration currency at OpenDNS) has changed; or your browser settings got messed up (e.g. because you were surfing on that laptop at McBarfly's Intertube Hermionation and had to mess them up for them to work there.)
You get to check 'em all out! Have your malware supression software do a tour, see what software's allowed per your firewall/s, make sure your DNS settings are what you or your ISP like to use, and if your browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, whatever) is unfazed, check the browser connection settings to make sure they don't expect a proxy at 10.55.55.190 or something (or create another connection setting, or record the old settings, so you can still use WiFi at work with the proxy, etc.) Geez, better juggle some tennis balls or free weights while you work through all that.

I have a Avaya 2410 corded phone connected to a plantronics cordless receiver. When someone calls me it rings once and stops, and the call immediately goes to my voice mail. This is something that just...

Everything I have read on the voice mail problem refers to resetting that feature on the phone (the headset is just an innocent bystander). If you don't have the manual, you can contact Avaya for assistance.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

The unit suddenly stopped working; contact is plugged in but on-button does not work. No lights on, it does not seem the unit has power.

I faced a similar problem with Mine a couple of days ago.
Try these below
1. Keep the unit plugged to the wall socket (and charge). Green light (indicating charging) may not glow. It doesnt matter. Keep it on for a few hours.
2. Then try to turn on the unit.
3. If it still doesnt turn on, fold the unit and keep it aside for a few mins (say 10 mins).
4. Open it and then try to turn it on.

Mine worked with step 4.

See if this helps.
regards,
Lakshmi

Spell checker not working in Yahoo email

" A few of you have been reporting that you are having issues with the spell-checker in the new version of Yahoo! Mail. I just want to let you know that we are aware of the issue and will have a fix out soon.
In the meantime, you can use the built-in spell checking functionality of some of today’s modern browsers. For example, the latest versions of Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari all have in-line spell checkers. If you don’t have one of those browsers installed or don’t want to install one, you can use classic Yahoo! Mail until we have rolled out the fix (from ‘Options’ click the ‘Switch to Yahoo! Mail Classic’ link)."
