I have a 20 inch emerson model EWF2004A, and i do not have a remote, how can i change the channel to input so i can play my game system?

There is one way to try. I would have your playstation connected to the A/V of your TV. Power up your game. Now try tuning your TV to channel 3 of course. Now, press channel down on TV a few times...You may get an input. I'm not sure if this will help, but try anyway. If this fails, you need to purchase a universal remote with an input selection. I recommend a Philips remote. TV remote model # SRP 1003/27. This number is located just left of the universal price code. I found this remote as one of the best. IN MOST CASES IT IS CHANNEL 3 OR 4. ALSO SOME TV'S HAVE A INPUT/GAME BUTTON THE REMOTE CONTROL WHICH CHANGES THE INPUT TO THE DESIRED LOCATION

looking at yr tv, i thk it is the same model i have...i don't hv the orig remote.go to the menu, shd see "set-up", as you manually press the channels2.3.4,etc you have to save the channel.you probably didn't have to chg 3/4 saved b/c normally cable is hooked up.you set up is complete you will be able to manually(push buttons)on t.v. - but i have since gotten a universal remote

Need the remote to go to the aux. The number for parts and service is on the back

With many of these TV sets the original factory remote is required to change the input mode of the set, or to access any of the user menus.

On some models of sets, putting the channel selection down to below channel 2, puts the TV in to the external input modes.

Go to Radio Shack and get an universal remote control, mine is a Phillips Universal and just program it to your tv. It has a tv/vcr input to let you switch to the right "input"/channel.
