Just letting you know what has happened today, the buyer who bought my chanel camellia thongs mscara has asked for a refund. although i state i do not refund, of course i will as he/she has sent 3 urgent messages and states they are not the right size. I quoted aust. size and also sent measurements. sounds a little strange to me, i sent them xpress with tracking. have asked for shoes to be returned before i refund, is this correct? edith

I have had a personal problem with this many times in my auctions. I run a successful company that specializes in auctioning. With my personal experience I would just refund the item. Ive had the same things happen to me many times, and to avoid all the long, often drawn out process that is dealing with someone on the internet, I chose to end it quick. You also get out of any negative feedback by doing this. Make sure you only agree to a refund as "on return of item as sent" only. Good Luck!

if it was bought on paypal , make the refund back through paypal
if it was by credit card , contact the buyer by e-mail and make arrangements for the refund .
if you make the advance first and explain that the stock list was not updated in time for the purchase and that you want to refund the purchase price it will reduce anger from the buyer as it shows an honest error

yes just go to who ever you bought it off and you should be able to cancel it from there or contact them and let them know not to refund you.

put 20 bucks in your paypal or ebay acct and then refund to him,

go to paypal and find the transaction and click on it then click refund

I'm not a lawyer or an expert in legal matters; I only want to give you a third party opinion. I have no doubt in your honesty and I'm sure you meant well from the beginning, but you left yourself vulnerable to this kind of problem by shipping an item with a defect, no matter how little it was. You have no way of knowing if the client is lying or taking advantage of a bad situation.
As hard as this may seem, cut your losses, refund the cost and pay for return shipping. I hope things work out for you and don't let that kind of drawback discourage you.

I cancelled CDEarth today, #673698, and asked for a refund of my money. I have never received ANY cd's from CDEarth. I would like a refund.


You need to ask the person or company you bought the program from. We can't help you get a refund.

Ive bought a 250w from ebay, the sat nav has a pin block on it, the seller hasn't got pin, how do i get over this?


Unless the buyer can send you the original receipt you are out of luck. You have to send it to Garmin with the original receipt to get the PIN reset. This is to prevent stolen units from being resold. If you are unable to find the original receipt you may be able to sell parts of the device (screen, chargers, etc) or ask for a refund from the buyer you purchased it from. Hope this helps you out.

Hi there!
First, you can contact the seller and ask the seller if they can exchange it for a smaller size or a refund. If it's not as described in the listing, then you can file for the item not as described case that way, the seller will be notified about it. If the seller will not work things out with you, then you can escalate the case into a claim then eBay will give you the steps on how to return the address to the seller (although most of the time buyer will shoulder the return shipping as stated in their eBay buyer protection program, duh!) Just send back the item if you will see the return address of the seller in the case and don't click the close this case link if you haven't received the refund yet.
In returning the item, make sure that you will purchase tracking because it will be the one that eBay will use to issue the refund. Once it shows "delivered" then eBay will get the payment from the seller's recoupment payment method on file, if eBay can't get anything from it then eBay will shoulder the amount and will issue you refund.

Sold fine working no problem laptop 3100 on Ebay 2 days ago shipping took one day buyer said it comes on then shuts off .We never had a problem w/this laptop and the buyer said it was not damaged during...


Hi Bob,

Although there's really no way to know if he's scamming you or if it was dropped in shipping it is quite possible it wasn't shut down completely before shipping and the battery died in transit. If this happened it may simply be stuck in a power cycle.

Ask the buyer to unplug the power and remove the battery. Have hime hold the power button down for 30 seconds with the battery out and ac disconnected then have him put the battery back in and turn it back on.

If it was stuck in a power cycle this should fix it, if not we can try to diagnose it further once you have it back.
