could be a combination of thing hapening together. if your drive is stuck in the closed position your drive belt is really dusty or becoming worn. if you hear "studdering" noises then and you CAN NOT hear teh disk spinning, then your laser has burned out. any question feel free to call or message...972-217-6684

The getting stuck in the drives is probly the hole for the spinning engine thing to spin is too small (happened to my xbox games... too much moisture one day....) but check if it's badly scratched or the laser could be out of place.

Sounds like there is a problem with the holders on the top of the dvd drive that is supposed to keep the discs in place so it prevents the noises from happening. They wear out after lots of gameplay. Easiest thing to do is to replace the dvd drive because to open it up and replace the holders could cause more damage to the drive.

Vhs is stuck in machine. Won't play and won't eject.

There are any number of reasons why it won't play. The loading basket is jammed, the video tape has got tangled up in the mechanical section of the vcr or the loading gears are stripped. Unplug machine and remove top, [screws side and back] if the tape is spewed carefully remove by cutting it and clean tape particles, for any other problem have a technician check it out.

The DVD player keeps opening and closing and won't play/load DVD's. What could be the problem?

There are sensors which tell the DVD drive that the drawer is closed and that there is a DVD inserted, if these fail there is usually no simple fix, the parts need to be replaced which requires complete dis-assesembly of the TV/DVD, Most people just choose to connect an external DVD as it is cheaper.

Compact Disc rewritable DVD player won't load or play

Check the data connector on the rear of the drive. If this doesn't work you may need a new drive, they are cheap and readily available.

CD is stuck inside of a tv/dvd player

Try shutting the television off. With the unit turned off, hold the eject button and turn the unit back on. Continue holding the eject button for 30 seconds or until the DVD comes out.
If this doesn't work, try unplugging the TV for 5 minutes and attempting the above steps.
Hope this helps!

My drive doesn't read all dvd that i inserted

There can be some reasons for this behavior:
1. If those are movie DVD's from a region that your player is not unlocked to play, it won't play it.
2. The DVD's have deep scratches.
3. There is some problem with your DVD player itself. You can get it repaired but its best to buy new.

When I put a cd or dvd into my disk drive I hear a strange buzzing noise coming from the drive as soon as the cd or dvd starts to play.Sometimes the buzzing comes and goes but will last at least thirty ...

The buzzing might be just a little bit of friction between the motor and its housing rubbing together, or it could be off-balanced and vibrating against the drive cage. It's more than likely nothing as long as the disk still reads, and as long as it does still read, there's no need to send it in for repairs, it's just a minor annoyance. However, if the disk does not read, and I made an inaccurate guess as to the problem, then I would send it into the manufacturer for repairs.
