You can try to turn of the bluetooth if that is active, if its not then you can go to the network settings and change it from 3g to 2g. As 3G willl consume more power than the 2g network

There are applications running in the back ground such as FB, LinkedIn, My space...etc. There is a setting you can turn off how your phone uses apps. You are able to turn them on and off to keep from streaming update data.

How to extend battery time for i phone?

Ensure any unneeded apps are stopped and not running in the background. Some apps such as facebook / twitter / etc may need to be completely uninstalled or logged out to keep them from running.
Turn down the screen brightness, Generally turning the screens brightness down till it can still be easily seen but not overly bright can increase cell phone battery by up to 20%
Shut off wifi / bluetooth / gps when not required. Disable Wifi / bluetooth, and GPS will also increase your phones battery time.

Ensure a full charge, most devices (iphones included) usually require a minimum of 8 solid hours to charge, even when they say full, they are not actually "FULL". Make sure your device gets at least 8 hours of charge time before use, and don't allow the battery to drain all the way before the next charge.

My phone is not turning on

Hello My Dear Friend:

1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears
•Release the power button but *continue holding the home button*, for another 30 seconds.

disconnect the battery when you get home , the negative.
hook it back up before you go to work , if it starts ,
something is drawing power out of you battery .
its possible that the alternator could be bad , or
something else could draw it down.

One minutes Battery meter shows full, the next 0% Battery Low

Have you tried powering the phone off and removing the battery? Cleaning the charging contacts on the phone and the charger? Inspect the charging port to make sure there wasn't any damage from the fall. Then restart the device.

Hope that helps.

Blackberry bold suddenly shut down

Lots of battery issues with the Bold. Try taking the battery out, keeping it out and connecting to PC with USB. Do any lights come on? Red light should appear. Put battery in while connected to USB.

Another fix that I found for a friend-leave the battery out of the unit for a day-put it in and plug in power cord or USB. It worked.

Phone dies quickly after charging

It would be helpful to know just how quickly the battery is going flat, and I'm assuming there's no history of the phone having been damaged, but... Try swapping the battery for one from a friend's phone. If that cures the problem, you need to buy a new battery (they don't last forever). Otherwise, try charging the battery fully in a friend's phone using their charger, then see how long it lasts. If this lasts much longer, the problem is that the phone/charger combination isn't charging the battery properly. Mix and match chargers and handsets (mark which are yours before you start, or you will get mixed up) to identify where the problem lies. If the battery isn't old and tired, and the phone is charging it properly, then the problem must be that the phone is drawing excessive current. This could be because you've got it set up to do some power-hungry thing (backlight continuously on, playing MP3s or FM, promiscuously Bluetoothing or IR communicating, etc). Shut down all the functions you don't actually need at the time and see if that makes any different. Once you've eliminated all those, you're left with the liklihood that the phone has a fault which is making it draw excess current. Not good news, but at least you've eliminated all the other possibilities. A.
